the price of everything skyrockets and the general public remain unawhere....pay attention..food riots in egypt,phillipines,etc....food is the one thing people WILL NOT go without!screw oil,bio fuel is a joke ,it's just another reason to jack the costs of the essentials of life...water is next..it takes more water to process bio fuel and north america & europe have gotten fat and lazy off the rest of the world...a hundred years ago the middle east was worth nothing on a commodity basis ..check out Dubai...what the fuck?We make everything out of nothing and for the past 5000 years have fought over piles of dirt and about what we believe in...when there's nothing left ,what will we believe in?Elvis?because we'll be finding chunks of memorabilia that the post apocalyptic waste will leave behind for us to find!!!!rice goes up because flour goes up and the middle class will disappear,in a haze of violence and stupidity...not caring that the fat get fatter and the poor will waste away...same as it ever was,same as it ever was.......it was so easy to sell out...smile for the camera ,life got easier,the car got bigger ,the food was easier to come by..drinking is the opiate for the masses or drugs or religion or......take your pick....all day long I cook ...all day long I serve...all day long I try to survive..some one comes in and orders food and we make it the best we can and yet they complain that it's not the way they like it so it goes in the garbage...and this is just a microcosm of what happens on a daily basis in all north american restaurants...we could feed the world,but then the population goes up and the costs go up and then...over and over and over....repetitive bull crap..trained thought so you don't feel guilty when you go to sleep at night after a 10 hour day slaving away in the "rice paddies"just to make a buck so you don't go hungry or have to buy an uzi to protect yourself from any body that's trying to steal your sandwich....Wayne(where ever you are) you were wrong! There's nothing wrong with no religion ,or heaven or hell waiting at the end.....somedays it's hard to take cooking seriously .After all it's only food...............
