aargh,now we want to make our own menu on a daily basis ,not that I've spent 25 years thinking about what I'm doing...and as you all know the guest is always correct...not!Kevin just informed me that it smells like spring outside...I'm not sure what outside looks like anymore...But all I wanted was a grilled cheese sandwich.....well if we served cheese and bread that would be easy wouldn't it?being a latin sushi restaurant with french overtones and a heavy dose of indian you would think we would stock cheddar cheese,even though it's not listed on the menu....anywhere!nor do we serve white bread......a tandoori quesadilla...quite possible ,but grilled cheese...No,nononononono......Ramsey fit.....maybe get some make up a la ken baker and disguise myself so I can find out what the staff and guests really think of me....or take a short order cook and teaach them hhow to cook risotto while screaming obscenities at the top of my lungs.......today my fish guy told me that he gave himself food poisoning...any chef worth shit has poisoned themselves many times...whether through alcohol or user friendly pickles or the magic mushroom soup that they whipped up just before saturday service....get over yourself...what tthe hell would you really care, what anyone thought anymore ,if the stars all disappeared and the ass kissing 55 year olds who can'tmake a decent mac and cheese with out the box and microwave all stopped paying homage to all the iron chefs of the world....kung fu on television had better mantra than most of the chefs who no longer practice what made them in the first place yadda yadda hey yadda yadda hoooooooooo
